Archos redesigns the concept of Tablet PC for players with the new Archos GamePad, which combines the physical buttons, to control games, hosted on either side of the screen, with the power and utility of a conventional tablet. The Archos GamePad comes equipped with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the latest update of Google's operating system that improves system stability and allows full access to Google Play, digital download Apps platform that offers over 500,000 free applications and payment, to maximize your new GamePad.
Its capacitive 5 points touch screen and 7" high resolution offers up to 16 million colors and very sharp, that will make it a perfect accessory to play almost anywhere. Thickness is one of the strengths of the new Tablet Archos PC, since it is only 10 mm thick and weighing only 330 grams.
In terms of processor and graphic power, the Archos GamePad stands above almost all tablets on the market. A quad-core graphic processor 400 MP4 GPU and a dual core processor at 1.6 Ghz to make that our Android experience is much more fluid, either in work of video playback or web browsing, plus, of course, an experience never seen before in games.
With 8 GB of internal memory, the Archos GamePad has a microSD reader for memory cards up to 32 GB. It features a mini-HDMI output so that we can connect the tablet to our television and enjoy our games on a big screen.
Archos patented a revolutionary tool to handle games that had no physical controls with buttons that have on both sides of the screen. This feature is only available on the company's devices.
