A new member to the family Nintendo 3DS
Nintendo 2DS XL: a new option for consumers which is situated between the Nintendo 2DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL. This new sloping console style 3DS will be available in the combinations black/turquoise and white/orange, and has the same size screen that the console New Nintendo 3DS XL, but, as its name indicates, the images are displayed only in 2D.

This console is lighter than the New Nintendo 3DS XL, but it has the same power and comes with NFC built-in to be able to use cards and figurines amiibo.

It is compatible with the vast library of Nintendo 3DS games, New Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS, including characters and franchises like Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Kirby, Pokémon, Fire Emblem, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., Animal Crossing or The Legend of Zelda series, which are exclusive to Nintendo consoles.

The screens of the 2DS XL is a 82% larger than the Nintendo 2DS and the same size as the New Nintendo 3DS XL.

More control options
The console New Nintendo 2DS XL, with its lever C buttons and ZL/ZR, it offers control options, enhanced in compatible games. The lever C allows you to control the most sensitive that reflects the pressure applied to it.

Compatible with amiibo
The NFC is built into the touch screen. When you put an amiibo (sold separately) on the touch screen using a software compatible, the console will be able to read and write data to the amiibo and the games will offer you new possibilities.
